The cat had themouse in his paw and stared at it. It had built a crazy machine that the mouse avoided only to be caught by a mousetrap. The cat smiled a devilish, toothy grin while running throughout the house holding the mouse. The mouse did not appear afraid, but it seemed as if it were simply bored.
Tom the cat was filled with joy now that he had caught Jerry the mouse. He did not care that his complicated trap had failed and that Jerry had simply tripped and got his tail caught in the mousetrap around the corner. Tom didn't stop and think that it would probably take another 70 years to get the goldfish and canary needed for his mouse pot pie.
Cute idea.
