The elements of romanticism in FIRST LOVE

Roamnticism was a movement that focused mostly on the expression of strong emotions. The main character in Turgenev's "First Love," is a young man name Vladmir who falls in love with the "girl next door." Definition-wise ramanticism has nothing to do with being romantic; however, Vladmir constantly felt strong emotions whenever he was around his love Zinaida. Throughout the story Vladmir's feelings for Zinaida continued to grow and so tdid the admiration that he felt for his father.
During the course of the story Vladmir constantly mentions the strong sense of admiration that he has for his father even though his father chose a passionate love with Zinaida over his wife, Vladmir's mother. However, even upon discovering the truth about Zinaida and his father, Vladmir's admiration and strong feelings for both of them only seems to grow stronger the entire time. These strongly expressed emotions are powerful romatic elements within Turgenev's "First Love."

Vladimir's First LOVE (heartbreak)

Vladimir's first love was what a person would expect form a teenage boy. Zinaida led Vladimir on, perhaps she did not know what she was doing to him, but it is more likely it was exactly what she wanted. The attention that Zinaida gave Vladimir to believe that he had a chance at her heart. The only thing Vladimir knew was that a beautiful, older woman was paying attention to him and not treating him like a child; therefore, in his mind he was another of Zinaida's suitors with an equal, if not better chance, at having her heart.

My Precious

The precious is our precious object. It let's us fly to the far away place. The precious belongs to us only we can have it, only we can use it. We are nothing without our precious. The precious makes others respect us. The precious will make us big and powerful.

The precious was taken from us. They took form us to make us small again, but we need to precious to be us. We are not us without our precious. The precious gave us a place, so we are nothings without the precious. We can feel us ripping without the precious, all the time it gets harder to hear each other. The precious kept us together kept, it kept us whole.
We have split apart without the precious, the love that kept the relationship strong. I am alone now and don''t know what to do without the precious love we had shared.

It has been a year since our precious love went away, and I could not see us ever loving again. However, I am now building a new precious with a new person. This time our precious will not fade. This we swear. Both our "preciouses" were taken but together we can and will build a better and stronger precious. This one won't even be destroyed by a volcano in Midle-Earth.

The Nose Knows

All I remember is complete and utter darkness, a great warmth, and a smell of fresh baking bread. That is what woke me up at first, that and the bread knife that nearly cut me off of my face. Wait a second this face is warmer and softer than it usually is in tthe mornings and why do I keep smelling freshly baked bread. Great another idiot lost me and I got stuck in a loaf of bread, just another Tuesday night for a nose like me. That guy up there looks alot like the dude that trims my yard and he looks really pale he must think he cut me off of my face. What is he doing with that handkerchief, that is just perfect another psycho that wants to get rid of me. I might as well go along for the ride for the time being he might take me back to my face.
Ok, we have been walking for 30 minutes and he has already tried dropping me on a street, I have to give credit to the police they can't do much but they will stop you in a heart beat for littering. I just hope this idiot does not drop me in a river somewhere over the rainbow.

Sorry but thou art not my kind of woman

Dear Tatiana,

Your beauty is beyond compare and I long for you to be there when I first wake in the morning;
however, I must sadly admit to you that I could only lust for your body, for thou art somewhat insane.
On my honor, I swear to thee that if thou were less obsessive I might share your feeling. However, I do not share your desire for a relationship between us. I give my humblest apologies in this letter and I pass along to thee that we may stay friends and one day become even closer.

With no regrets, Onegin.

Quotes on "The Little Prince"

"I am drinking...So that I may forget... Forget that I am ashamed...Ashamed of drinking!" This quote is expressed by tippler the Little Prince meets on the third planet he visits. This quote I believe shows how people obsessions can lead to a dependency that they hope will end and yet also desire to not end.

"For what the king fundamentally insisted upon was that his authority should be respected...But, becouse he was a very good man, he made his orders reasonable." This quote describes the desire for absolute power held by the king the Little Prince met on the first planet. This qoute illustrates that the king desired complete power to such an extent that he gave orders that one could nnot help but follow in order to feel obeyed.

Tom finally catches Jerry

I finally did it, after 70 years I, Thomas the Cat, have finally caught Jerry. It took 5 ironing boards, 3 pies, 9 fish bowls, 119 hairpins, 89 nail, 30 pounds of lumber, 8 sticks of dynamite, 15 pounds of cheese, a bank vault, 17 neighborhood cats, and 1 mousetrap, but I finally have Jerry. I never thought this day would come.I think I will make my famous mouse pot pie. All I have to do now is catch that stupid canary and retarded goldfish.

The cat had themouse in his paw and stared at it. It had built a crazy machine that the mouse avoided only to be caught by a mousetrap. The cat smiled a devilish, toothy grin while running throughout the house holding the mouse. The mouse did not appear afraid, but it seemed as if it were simply bored.

Tom the cat was filled with joy now that he had caught Jerry the mouse. He did not care that his complicated trap had failed and that Jerry had simply tripped and got his tail caught in the mousetrap around the corner. Tom didn't stop and think that it would probably take another 70 years to get the goldfish and canary needed for his mouse pot pie.
