When the servant awoke the next morning he felt warmer than he usually did in the morning and well rested. As he went to fill his master's tub with hot water he noticed that the water buckets felt lighter with each step that he took. While his master was bathing he went to retrieve his master's clothes, and when the servant reached for the clothes he noticed that his nails not only seemed longer and harder but that they seemed to be growing before his eyes. The servant suddenly began to feel an annoying itch all over his body and as he watched his skin began to take on a golden hue and change to a scaled pattern. He felt the skin on his back begin to stretch and grow and when he twisted his head to see he realized that his neck had also grown longer. Upon his back he watched as a pair of leathery wings grew form his back.
The servant took only a few moments to witness these incredible changes before he remembered his master was waiting on him. Fearing his master's wrath the servant attempted to carefully pick up his master's clothing with his now fully formed golden claws. The servant went back to his master's bath chamber and had just managed to get inside the door when his master burst through the door with a whip in hand planning to whip the servant for having made him wait. Upon seeing what his once worthless servant had become the master dropped to his knees and began to beg for mercy.
The servant, upon seeing his master bowed before him, moved forward towards the mirror upon his master's wall saw that he had become a golden dragon with large powerful limbs and wings. As he watched he noticed with vision that had become enhanced along with his transformation that he was still growing and the rate he was growing was increasing. He watched as thin trails of smoke began to come from his mouth and realized that soon the room would be to small to contain him. The former-servant tensed his muscles and threw himself out the high window and snapped open his wings to glide down to the courtyard of his former master as his transformation become complete.
By noon that day the former-servant had grown to be over 40 feet long from snout to tail and was 20 feet high at the shoulder when on all fours. It was only after his final transformation and remembering the fear upon his former-master's face that he now realized what he had gained with his new form. The servant turned dragon had gained power.
